Please note: Motorcycle suspension struts are a combination of a coil spring and a hydraulically acting damper (vibration damper). Suspension struts are one of these parts, that affect the handling and contribute to the granting of the vehicle type approval The switch of the original coil spring with another one like for example a progressive instead of a linear spring rate as well as the exchange of the whole suspension strut is subject to approval Changes to the vibration damper or the exchange of it is not subject to approval. This means : If the original spring gets adapted- the damper is not subject to approval.
